You can delete your account from inside the app. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will do it for you.
In the app

Open Settings
Available in both the Android app and the web app.

Go to Your data
Choose Delete my account.

Type DELETE
This confirms you meant it. There is no undo.
This removes the linked SharkID identity first, and then deletes ChoreShark profile, task, completion, inventory, preference and session data, including every child profile on the account and its data.
Deleting one child profile
Open Settings, then Child profiles, choose the profile and select Delete profile. That removes the profile's name, its completion history and its aquarium, and hands any task it was assigned back to the household. The rest of your account is untouched.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your SharkID account. We will verify ownership before processing the request.
What happens to your data
- Live records are removed immediately when deletion completes.
- Database backups are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted.
- Security logs may remain for up to 90 days.
- Legally required records are kept only for the required period.
